Enter data and leave a field blank or enter an e-mail address without the proper sequence @ and no extension... An error message will appear explaining error. If you enter your e-mail address, an e-mail will be sent to you using <cfmail> formatting with cfmail can be set to anything you wish. It is very flexible and easy to use.
The e-mail address you enter will be used as the recipient in the processing, this example does not store or save your address and it is discarded after the form processes and the email is sent to you.
